Commercial First is different. Our flexible approach to commercial mortgages focuses upon the property security being offered and the repayment ability of the applicant. We pioneered the first public securitisation of this type of business mortgage, a transaction worth £132.5m completed in March 2004, and have since developed a highly successful securitisation programme culminating in BMF7 in December 2007.
By using warehouse line funding and the securitisation model that many specialist residential lenders rely upon, Commercial First has access to volume funding allowing us the ability to directly compete with high street and institutional lenders.
